Construction of fences or walls around sensitive sites. By the construction of such physical barriers the entrance to sensitive sites is impeded. The aim is to ensure that no unauthorized personnel gets access to sensitive buidlings, assets or infrastructures.

Which kind of fence and/or wall is chosen depends inter alia on the protection needs of the respective infrastructure/asset/building. Thus, before a fence or wall is built, a security concept (e.g. defining different security zones) could be set up to define which needs for perimeter protection exist in the respective cases.
